Questions, answered
Will it work with my theme?
Dazu installs as a theme app embed, so it works with any Online Store 2.0 theme without editing code. You can also place it exactly where you want with the theme editor.
Is the discount applied at checkout?
Yes. Discounts run on Shopify Functions, Shopify's own discount engine. They are recalculated from the real cart, so they can't be gamed, and they appear in the cart, checkout, order emails and order details.
Will it slow down my store?
Pages without a deal load a script of under 1 KB. The full widget loads only on products that have an active deal.
Does it support multiple currencies and languages?
Prices follow your store's active currency through Shopify Markets, and every storefront text can be edited.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed by Shopify on your normal Shopify invoice. Paid plans start with a free trial, and you can change or cancel anytime from the Plans page in the app.
Can I manage deals with AI?
Yes. On Pro, Dazu suggests deals from your order history and connects to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants (MCP) so you can create and publish deals by chatting.
What happens if I uninstall?
Shopify removes the app's discounts and theme embed automatically. Your theme is never modified, so nothing is left behind.
